Eucharist Lewis School Receives Donation On Tuesday November 1, 2011, the Eucharist Lewis Seventh-day Adventist Primary School became the beneficiary of a financial donation from the Republic of China on Taiwan.  The donation was made by the Taiwanese Ambassador, Mr. Tom Chou, and was facilitated by the office of the Prime Minister of the Government of Saint Lucia.

School On The Home Stretch

AS THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR approaches, work continues at a feverish pace on the Castries SDA Primary School building.  On almost any given day, skilled workmen of all types can be seen bustling about in an effort to meet the deadline - Sunday, August 28, 2011.

Preparatory works are in place for the installation of the roof; windows are being mounted; priming in preparation for painting is being done; landscaping has commenced; the end is in sight.

National Convention

Saturday, May 28, 2011 saw the gathering together of Seventh-day Adventists at the church's annual convention of believers.  From all over the island they came, in buses, vans, pickups,  Part_of_the_Crowd DSC_0538trucks, motorcycles, and cars, to be challenged to model Christ's excellence in character.  The venue: the Beausejour Cricket Grounds (BCG) in the north of Saint Lucia.

Consultation on Crime

DSC_0027DSC_0023Tuesday, March 1, 2011 was a historic day in Saint Lucia when the Seventh-day Adventist convened its first Consultation on Crime and Anti-Social Behavior in Saint Lucia.  The Bay Gardens Hotel served as the venue for this important event, which was attended by church administrators, directors, pastors, educators, other key players in the SDA island church, and members of the judicial and law enforcement sector of society.

YOUTH MINISTRIES TRAINING

Youth ministries in the Saint Lucia Mission is off to a great start.

Sabbath, February 26, saw the youth from all over the island converge on the Grande Riviere Secondary School for training and empowerment sessions in taking youth ministries to the new level.
